The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures

The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures, which is a short drive from Greeley, is packed with artwork and exhibitions that discuss the history and culture of the neighborhood. The only museum in Colorado that emphasizes international collections is Global Village Museum. Four galleries house the Museum’s varied collections, one of which features miniature works of international folk art. 3 exhibits are held each year at the Main Gallery.

Many visitors are surprised to find sizable collections from Southeast Asia and Africa among the folk and Native American art for which the museum is best known. The exhibits, which include works done in a variety of media from nations in remote corners of the world, are among the museum’s highlights.

The staff of the museum provides a range of programs, such as story time for kids. If appointments are made in advance, group tours are available.
